This series of 16ml HPLC vials is designed for use with a variety of autosamplers and storage applications. Used with 18-400 threaded caps and septa, consistent flat bottom.
The 18-400 septum uses only high-quality materials to ensure proper function, especially for LC applications, ensuring that the septum does not fall into the vial during the injection process. These septa are made of PTFE/silica gel blends, which are excellently inert and can be injected multiple times. The 18-400 septum has a thickness of 1.5 mm and PTFE is approximately 0.1 mm.
The 18-400 caps are made from high-quality polypropylene, combining innovation with time-saving convenience. This patented, chemically inert cap is a true combination of the septum and the plastic lid at the molecular level to avoid excessive evaporation and maintain proper sealing of the vial.
